The Liverpool Green Event 2007
With ever increasing pressure on our environment new legislation is now being applied to the previously exempt SME sector.

To help SME’s in particular make sense of the legislation and work within the legislation the guidelines there will be:

- 1st hand knowledge and advice from Environmental Agency, Liverpool Environmental Services;

- specialised advice from EDC on WEEE (Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment) RoHS (Reduction of Hazardous Substances- e.g. lead-free);

-energy saving and infrastructure regeneration from Merben
 

- Opportunity to evaluate  real alternatives to save on overheads using sustainable technologies.


-Advice on how any business can work towards becoming carbon neutral & why they should.


-Case studies – SME’s doing their bit for the environment

-Off the shelf solutions to help SME’s to reduce their carbon emissions, including micro-generation and the cost implications of using micro-generation.
